Air Source Heat Pump Technology

Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) extract energy from the air outdoors and convert it into heat, enabling you to heat your home and water without the use of fossil fuels, even in the depths of a UK winter.
Similarly to how your fridge works, only in reverse, ASHPs use a combination of refrigerants, an evaporator, a compressor and a condenser to convert energy from the air into renewable heat for your property.
Heat pumps do use a small amount of electricity to run, but they output up to 4 times that amount of energy in the form of free renewable heat, making them a 300-500% efficient heating solution.
